"Save a Presentation? And backup copy…"To save a presentation, you can either save in your computer hard drive or other device such as diskette or handy/flash drive.
You can store new or existing presentations on disk. If you not save the file, you will be unable to view the presentation in the future. Once saved, you can re-open the file for viewing or editing. The entire PowerPoint presentation is saved in a single file, and any graphics, charts, or other elements are incorporated into that single file.
OR Click the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar.
The first time you save a presentation, PowerPoint opens the Save As dialog box, prompting you for a name and location. Thereafter, when you save that presentation, PowerPoint uses the same settings and does not prompt you for them again.
