"8 Effective PowerPoint Keyboard Shortcuts"


Using the available PowerPoint keyboard shortcuts, you can save time when working on presentation outline as the outline consists of text.

You can use these shortcuts either when the focus is in the Outlining pane or when the focus is in a paragraph on a slide. Here are the 8 useful shortcuts:


1.) Promote the active paragraph to the next level
[Alt]+[Shift]+[←]

2.) Demote the active paragraph to the next level
[Alt]+[Shift]+[→]

3.) Move the selected paragraphs up by one displayed item
[Alt]+[Shift]+[↑]

4.) Move the selected paragraphs down by one displayed item
[Alt]+[Shift]+[↓]

5.) Show heading level 1 [Alt]+[Shift]+[1]

6.) Expand the headings and text below the selected heading
[Alt]+[Shift]+[+]

7.) Collapse the headings and text below the selected heading
[Alt]+[Shift]+[-]

8.) Toggle the display of all text and headings
[Alt]+[Shift]+[A]
