Outlook Keyboard Shortcut – Function Keys

The table below is the Microsoft Outlook keyboard shortcut for the function keys from F1 to F12.

Function key +SHIFT +CTRL +ALT
F1 Displays the Help task pane Closes and reopens the current task pane
F2 Turns on editing in a field (except Icon View) or Goes to the first displayed field in the active card (Card View) Opens Print Preview
F3 Displays the Find Bar Switches case of selected text
F4 Finds text Finds the next occurrence of the text specified in the Find dialog box when the dialog box is closed Quits MS Outlook or Closes the active window/dialog box
F6 Switches between the Help task pane and the program window or Switches between the Navigation Pane and the main Outlook window
F7 Checks spelling
F9 Checks for new mail or Starts send/receive for all defined Send/Receive groups Starts send/receive for the current folder
F10 Selects the Menu Bar or Closes an open menu and submenu at the same time Displays the Shortcut menu for the selected item or Displays a menu of commands for the Help window when the Help window has active focus
F11 Sets focus to the Find a Contact box Switches between the Visual Basic Editor and the previous active window
F12 Opens the Save As dialog box Saves the current item Opens the selected item
