However, you also can choose to update the suite manually. To do so, you must first connected to the Internet and follow the steps below to perform updates.

To update Microsoft Office manually

• Click the Office button in the top-left corner of any Office 2007 application (with new interface) and choose the application's Options button. In this case, we are using Word 2007 so click the Word Options button.
• From the Word Options dialog box displayed, click the Resources option.



• Click Check for Updates button. You will bring to the Microsoft online update page as follow:



• Read and check I accept the Terms of Use check box. Click Next button to continue.



• You can choose the Use recommended settings radio option and click the Install button.



• The processes continue to checking for available updates and you can just follow the onscreen instructions to continue installing the updates.
