"14 Microsoft PowerPoint Shortcut Keys for Applying Formatting"

Microsoft PowerPoint shortcut keys can be a great way to perform formatting either to the text or objects in your slides. You can do much (sometimes all) of your formatting work from the keyboard.

How fast you can do it depend to your ability but generally you can do some formatting faster than using the mouse if you can master the shortcut skills. Let's see some of the available formatting keys:

1.) Select the Font drop-down list on the Formatting toolbar

2.) Select the Font Size drop-down list on the Formatting toolbar

3.) Increase the font size

4.) Decrease the font size

5.) Display the Font dialog box

6.) Cycle the case of the selection

7.) Toggle subscript

8.) Toggle superscript

9.) Reset the formatting of the current paragraph or selection

10.) Copy the formatting of the selection

11.) Apply the copied formatting to the selection

12.) Apply justified alignment to the paragraph

13.) Group the selected objects

14.) Ungroup the selected group

Note: In most cases, you need to highlight the font/object before applying the keyboard shortcuts.
