How fast you can do it depend to your ability but generally you can do some formatting faster than using the mouse if you can master the shortcut skills. Let's see some of the available formatting keys:
2.) Select the Font Size drop-down list on the Formatting toolbar
3.) Increase the font size
4.) Decrease the font size
5.) Display the Font dialog box
6.) Cycle the case of the selection
7.) Toggle subscript
8.) Toggle superscript
9.) Reset the formatting of the current paragraph or selection
10.) Copy the formatting of the selection

12.) Apply justified alignment to the paragraph
13.) Group the selected objects
