"How to Delete Messages in Outlook 2003?"As you use Outlook and your e-mail account(s), you will need to delete, store messages in different related folders, sort and find messages. This tutorial will show you how to delete your Outlook email messages.
Once a message is no longer needed, the user can delete it. When a message is deleted, it is stored in the Deleted Items folder. Deleted messages can be retrieved from the Deleted Items folder.
To delete a message (Mouse method)
If messages are no longer required, they MUST be deleted from the Deleted Items folder. If this is not done regularly and error message will appear warning you that you have run out of space in your mail box.
Note: If you want to delete everything from the Deleted Items folder, click the right mouse button over the folder icon and choose Empty "Deleted Items" Folder from the resulting shortcut menu.
